Job Requirements

  • Minimum two years culinary and/or teaching experience preferred
  • Willingness to obtain Serve Safe certification upon hiring
  • Ability to teach remotely using technology preferred
  • Access to personal technology for online teaching required
  • Completion of pre-employment background check
  • Commitment to supporting student success in a multicultural environment
  • Flexibility to teach during days, evenings, and weekends

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Plan and deliver culinary instruction in classroom and virtual settings
  • Conduct courses in various formats including face-to-face, online, hybrid, and blended
  • Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback
  • Maintain accurate records and submit required instructional paperwork timely
  • Adapt teaching methods to support diverse and multicultural student populations
  • Assist in non-credit adult education courses focused on culinary skills and food and beverage knowledge
  • Engage with students to promote learning and success
