Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum two years culinary and/or teaching experience preferred
  • ability to teach using technology including online platforms
  • access to personal technology and reliable home computer
  • willingness to obtain Serve Safe certification upon hiring
  • ability to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends
  • successful completion of pre-employment background check

Job Qualifications

  • minimum two years culinary experience
  • experience in teaching or culinary instruction preferred
  • ability to use technology for remote or virtual teaching
  • certification in Serve Safe (or willingness to obtain upon hiring)
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • commitment to diversity and inclusive teaching practices

Job Duties

  • plan and deliver instructional courses in culinary arts for adult learners
  • conduct courses in classroom, lab, or virtual settings using various delivery modes
  • evaluate student progress and provide timely feedback
  • accurately submit instructional paperwork and grades
  • maintain professional knowledge of culinary trends and teaching methods
  • support diverse student populations and adapt teaching to different learning styles
