- multi-person transport aircraft experience as a pilot
- ability to commit to 10 scheduled weekly hours
- strong communication skills
- familiarity with line oriented flight training
- degree in aviation or related field preferred
- ability to work in diverse and inclusive academic environment
Job Qualifications
- experience as a pilot in multi-person transport aircraft
- knowledge of aircraft systems and airline operating procedures
- understanding of aviation human factors
- ability to teach and communicate effectively
- experience with flight simulators and LOFT scenarios
Job Duties
- teach multi-person crew techniques used in commercial transport aircraft
- cover effective management of technology and people in modern flight decks
- instruct on aircraft systems, airline operating procedures, and aviation human factors
- integrate line oriented flight training scenarios in lectures and simulator sessions
- apply course content to actual line operations
