Job Requirements

  • medical certificate indicating fitness to instruct or associate with students after selection
  • full vaccination status in compliance with LACCD Board of Trustees policy
  • bachelor’s degree or higher with two years of related experience or associate degree with six years of related experience
  • experience directly related to teaching assignment
  • commitment to diversity and inclusion
  • ability to teach and interact effectively with diverse student populations

Job Qualifications

  • bachelor's degree or higher in any field and two years of full-time related professional experience
  • or associate degree in any field and six years of full-time related professional experience
  • professional experience must be directly related to the teaching assignment
  • sensitivity to and understanding of diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students
  • American Culinary Federation certification, CCE desirable
  • previous teaching experience in college or university settings
  • certified ServSafe Instructor and registered ServSafe Proctor

Job Duties
