Job Requirements
- medical certificate indicating fitness to instruct or associate with students after selection
- full vaccination status in compliance with LACCD Board of Trustees policy
- bachelor’s degree or higher with two years of related experience or associate degree with six years of related experience
- experience directly related to teaching assignment
- commitment to diversity and inclusion
- ability to teach and interact effectively with diverse student populations
Job Qualifications
- bachelor's degree or higher in any field and two years of full-time related professional experience
- or associate degree in any field and six years of full-time related professional experience
- professional experience must be directly related to the teaching assignment
- sensitivity to and understanding of diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students
- American Culinary Federation certification, CCE desirable
- previous teaching experience in college or university settings
- certified ServSafe Instructor and registered ServSafe Proctor
Job Duties
- teach a range of courses within the Culinary Arts discipline

- prepare course materials and instructional activities
