Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2-3 years of management experience in relevant fields
- Fluent in English
- Legal right to work in the United States
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Experience in budget management and vendor negotiations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle emergency situations with calmness and decisiveness
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in hospitality, event management, education, or related fields
- 2-3 years of operational and staff management experience
- Proven ability to manage large budgets and negotiate contracts
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Creative mindset with an ability to generate new ideas
- Fluency in English required, other languages a plus
- Knowledge of Miami’s cultural and entertainment scene preferred
- Ability to lead in emergencies and resolve conflicts effectively
Job Duties
- Plan, organize, promote, and oversee a year-round calendar of social and cultural events
- Coordinate transportation, safety protocols, and staff coverage
- Foster high student satisfaction through inclusive and engaging experiences
- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise activity staff including Activity Leaders and Resident Assistants
- Provide coaching, support, and performance reviews to the activities team
- Manage budgets and supplies while forecasting revenue and controlling costs
- Negotiate vendor contracts and partnerships with local businesses
- Support campus-wide initiatives such as intakes and graduations
- Lead the school’s social media engagement with event-driven content
- Maintain flexibility to adapt to weather and operational changes
- Work evenings, weekends, and holidays during peak season as required
