Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Ability to work various shifts
- Strong communication skills
- Patience and creativity in working with children
- Experience with inventory management
- Ability to collaborate with healthcare and volunteer teams
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- Experience working with children in a healthcare or therapeutic setting preferred
- Ability to organize and lead group activities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Creative and patient-centered approach to child engagement
Job Duties
- Plan and facilitate age-appropriate play and activity programming
- Provide bedside play and engagement for patients unable to visit the playroom
- Assist with the orientation, training, and oversight of Child Life volunteers
- Support the planning and execution of special events, guest visits, and community donation activities
- Order, organize, and maintain activity supplies and manage toy inventory
- Ensure play areas are clean, safe, and developmentally appropriate
