Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prefer one year of experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors
  • Requires current Class C driver license, prefer Class B to transport residents
  • Able to operate a personal computer and proficient in MS Office programs
  • Comply with health and safety protocols including vaccination, screening, testing, and PPE use as required
  • Ability to communicate tactfully
  • Maintain safety standards in the workplace

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prefer one year of experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors
  • Requires current Class C driver license, prefer Class B
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to communicate with tact and friendliness
  • Commitment to maintain a safe environment
  • Willingness to follow health and safety protocols including vaccination and PPE use

Job Duties

  • Assist in organizing, scheduling, promoting, facilitating, and directing activities and excursions
  • Provide creative and rewarding social atmosphere in secured Memory Care area
  • Promote resident participation through diverse activities, excursions, and special events
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, co-workers, and supervisors
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards
  • Drive community vehicles as necessary
  • Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments
