Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prefer one year of experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors
- Current Class C driver license, Class B license to transport residents a plus
- Proficient in MS Office programs such as Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint
- Willing to comply with health and safety protocols including vaccination and use of personal protective equipment
- Able to drive community vehicles
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to maintain a safe environment

Job Duties
- Assist the Activity Director in providing an interesting, creative, and rewarding social atmosphere throughout the Assisted Living area
- Promote resident participation through regularly scheduled high-quality activities, excursions, special events, guest speakers, movie showings, exercise sessions, clubs, games, art and creativity opportunities, and educational classes
- Communicate effectively and display tact and friendliness when dealing with residents, families, visitors, co-workers, and supervisors
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards
- Drive community vehicles as needed
- Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments
