Job Requirements
- outgoing and compassionate leader
- experience in senior living, recreation therapy, or memory care programming
- strong organizational skills to plan engaging events, sensory activities, and daily enrichment experiences
- excellent communication and empathy when working with residents, families, and team members
- servant's heart with joy in helping others live with purpose and dignity
Job Qualifications
- at least 18 years of age
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prefer one year of experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors
- proficient in operating a personal computer and MS Office programs including Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint
- willing to comply with Oakmont Management Group’s health and safety protocols including vaccination, daily screening, surveillance testing, and use of PPE as required
Job Duties
- design and lead a full calendar of engaging, meaningful activities tailored to the abilities and interests of memory care residents
- foster an environment of belonging, warmth, and dignity where every resident feels valued and included
- partner closely with families, caregivers, and department directors to ensure programs enhance residents' emotional and cognitive well-being
- train and inspire the activities team to deliver creative, heartfelt programming that celebrates each resident's individuality
- bring creativity, patience, and compassion to every day-turning small interactions into special memories
