Job Requirements

  • High school diploma preferred or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of one year experience in hospitality, healthcare, or high-touch client-services environment
  • Experience in a clinic or healthcare setting preferred
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to design and facilitate engaging activities for older adults
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of healthcare compliance including HIPAA
  • Ability to work with diverse senior populations
  • High emotional intelligence and integrity

Job Qualifications

  • Experience working in clinic or healthcare setting preferred
  • Strong customer service skills with warm and welcoming demeanor
  • Ability to design, prepare, and lead hands-on activities tailored to older adult interests and abilities
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of healthcare functions including clinical workflows and quality improvement initiatives
  • Ability to work effectively with seniors and diverse populations
  • Demonstrated creativity and adaptability in activity planning

Job Duties

  • Coordinate all aspects of center activities including strategy, communication, setup, facilitation, and breakdown
  • Ensure all member activities adhere to compliance requirements and healthcare regulations including HIPAA and patient safety standards
  • Maintain a safe, orderly, and accessible activity center environment
  • Support building and strengthening community partnerships with healthcare providers and organizations
  • Partner with Center Manager to ensure effective communication between center staff, activity coordinator function, and members
  • Communicate programming schedules, event updates, and engagement opportunities
  • Track and report on member engagement, participation trends, and activity outcomes
