Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year of experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors preferred
- Current Class C driver license required, Class B preferred for resident transport
- Proficient in operating personal computers and MS Office applications
- Ability to communicate effectively and display tact and friendliness
- Ability to maintain a safe and secure environment
- Willingness to comply with health and safety protocols including vaccination, daily screening, and use of PPE
- Ability to drive community vehicles
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prefer one (1) year of experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors
- Current Class C, prefer Class B driver license to transport residents a plus
- Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Willingness to comply with health and safety protocols including vaccination, screening, and use of PPE as per regulatory guidelines
Job Duties
- Assist the Activity Director in providing an interesting, creative, and rewarding social atmosphere throughout the Assisted Living area
- Promote resident participation through regularly scheduled high-quality activities, excursions, special events, guest speakers, movie showings, exercise sessions, the establishment of clubs, games, art and creativity opportunities, educational classes and other such activities
- Communicate effectively and display tact and friendliness when dealing with residents, families, visitors, co-workers, and supervisors
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards
- Able to drive Community vehicles
- Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments
