Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in event planning or coordination preferred
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic budgeting skills
  • knowledge or interest in Hawaiian culture and local community

Job Duties

  • Develop and execute monthly activity calendars that support student engagement, cultural learning, and social connection
  • maintain accurate systems, records, and activity information to ensure smooth planning and execution
  • build and maintain strong relationships with local vendors, partners, and experience providers
  • collect, review, and process invoices in an accurate and timely manner
  • demonstrate budget awareness and cost consciousness in all planning and purchasing decisions
  • prepare, organize, and manage all necessary materials and supplies for activities and events
  • ensure a balanced mix of on-campus and off-campus programming that meets student interests and enhances the overall student experience
