Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prefer one (1) year of experience coordinating or teaching activities in health care facility
  • Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs
  • Willingness to comply with health and safety protocols including vaccination and use of personal protective equipment
  • Ability to communicate effectively and politely with residents, families, visitors, co-workers, and supervisors
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment by following safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Prefer one (1) year of experience coordinating or teaching activities in health care facility
  • Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Willingness to comply with health and safety protocols including vaccination, daily screening, surveillance testing, and use of personal protective equipment as required

Job Duties

  • Assist the Director Of Nursing in providing an interesting, creative, and rewarding social atmosphere throughout the secured Traditions area
  • Promote resident participation through regularly scheduled high-quality activities, excursions, special events, guest speakers, movie showings, exercise sessions, clubs, games, art and creativity opportunities, educational classes and other such activities
  • Communicate effectively and display tact and friendliness when dealing with residents, families, visitors, co-workers, and supervisors
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards
  • Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments
