Job Requirements
- A school diploma or its equivalent is preferred
- A Certified Nurse Aide is preferred
- Previous experience working in activity or recreational department in the long-term care industry or related industry is preferred

Job Duties
- Facilitate both individual and group activities based on the individual needs of the residents
- Ensure that activities are occurring for both high and low functioning residents
- Assist with scheduling beauty parlor and barber activities
- Provide activities for residents that are bedfast and/or unable to participate in group activities and document in the appropriate record
- Assist with the preparation of monthly calendar and posting in an area accessible, highly visible and frequented by residents and visitors
- Assist with generating the facility newsletter
- Participate in community events related to the interest of the facility
- Attend in-services as necessary
- Assist residents to and from activities
- Assist with activity program including Residents' Council and night and weekend activities as needed
- Deliver resident mail daily
- Other duties as assigned by the Activity Director and/or Administrator
