Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field or equivalent experience
- Experience working with older adults
- Ability to plan and implement activities
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Availability to work 10am to 6pm shifts including every other weekend
- Commitment to resident-centered care
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field or equivalent experience
- Previous experience working with older adults
- Ability to work effectively with older adults in both group and one-on-one settings
- Knowledge of planning and implementation of activity programs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Creative and motivated to develop innovative programs
Job Duties
- Plan and implement activities for residents based on assessments
- Plan and implement outings and special events
- Publicize programs through calendars, flyers, newsletters, and announcements
- Supervise volunteers and gather residents for activities
- Provide instruction, motivation, and assistance with programs and projects
- Creatively market programs and events to encourage participation
- Purchase supplies for programs within set budgets
