Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field or equivalent experience
  • Experience working with older adults
  • Ability to plan and implement activities
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Availability to work 10am to 6pm shifts including every other weekend
  • Commitment to resident-centered care

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience working with older adults
  • Ability to work effectively with older adults in both group and one-on-one settings
  • Knowledge of planning and implementation of activity programs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Creative and motivated to develop innovative programs

Job Duties

  • Plan and implement activities for residents based on assessments
  • Plan and implement outings and special events
  • Publicize programs through calendars, flyers, newsletters, and announcements
  • Supervise volunteers and gather residents for activities
  • Provide instruction, motivation, and assistance with programs and projects
  • Creatively market programs and events to encourage participation
  • Purchase supplies for programs within set budgets
