Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED
  • 2-3 years previous office or events planning experience
  • Proven customer service skills particularly with older adults
  • Availability to work part-time hours with flexible scheduling
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Ability to bend, stoop, lift, and carry
  • Excellent communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED
  • 2-3 years previous office or events planning experience
  • Proven and effective customer service skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • Skilled in operating standard office equipment including multi-line telephones, copiers, and calculators
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize daily tasks effectively

Job Duties

  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, guests, and the public by answering inquiries, giving directions, and offering general assistance
  • Process event and tour reservations, including collecting payments, issuing receipts, and maintaining accurate transaction records
  • Answer and direct incoming telephone calls, forward messages as appropriate, and provide accurate information in a courteous manner
  • Perform a variety of clerical and administrative tasks
  • Assist with the preparation of travel and on-site events
  • Provide support for event setup, decorating, teardown, and day-of event as needed
  • Assist with club and group filing or other administrative tasks as assigned
