Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Interest in working in a geriatric environment with elderly residents
  • Experience with social or recreational activities program
  • Commitment to confidentiality
  • Ability to maintain composure in various interactions
  • Reliable and personable
  • Available to work Wednesday through Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with variable hours

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working with social or recreational activities programs preferred
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Genuine interest in working with elderly residents including those with Alzheimer's and Dementia
  • Compassionate and reliable
  • Ability to maintain patient and tactful composure

Job Duties

  • Plan and implement activity programs that meet residents' physical, cognitive, social, and spiritual needs
  • Coordinate and organize social events such as holiday and birthday celebrations
  • Arrange community outings and off-campus activities
  • Encourage resident participation and motivate engagement in programs
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding resident information
  • Collaborate with team members to support activity initiatives
  • Manage activity supplies and maintain a safe environment
