Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Interest in working in a geriatric environment with elderly residents
- Experience with social or recreational activities program
- Commitment to confidentiality
- Ability to maintain composure in various interactions
- Reliable and personable
- Available to work Wednesday through Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with variable hours
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with social or recreational activities programs preferred
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Genuine interest in working with elderly residents including those with Alzheimer's and Dementia
- Compassionate and reliable
- Ability to maintain patient and tactful composure
Job Duties
- Plan and implement activity programs that meet residents' physical, cognitive, social, and spiritual needs
- Coordinate and organize social events such as holiday and birthday celebrations
- Arrange community outings and off-campus activities
- Encourage resident participation and motivate engagement in programs
- Maintain confidentiality regarding resident information
- Collaborate with team members to support activity initiatives
- Manage activity supplies and maintain a safe environment
