Job Requirements

  • compassion and respect for the individuals we support
  • dependability and a strong work ethic
  • minimum age of 18
  • a valid driver license held for at least 3 years with a mostly clear record
  • ability to communicate clearly in English, including electronic documentation
  • some leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • experience in day services or a similar program such as elder care

Job Duties

  • supervise and coordinate daily activity programs
  • plan creative, purposeful group and individual activities
  • provide delegation and support to direct support professionals
  • ensure accurate electronic documentation
  • support individuals during community outings and group events
  • assist with daily care needs, meals, and medication administration as needed
  • apply Mandt techniques to support positive behavior
