Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in senior living activities coordination or similar role preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with elderly residents and staff
  • Empathetic and patient demeanor
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks
  • Valid driver’s license (if transporting residents)
  • Must be energetic, personable, and creative

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in activity coordination or related role preferred
  • Knowledge of senior care and aging process
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and engage residents
  • Creative and enthusiastic personality
  • Basic administrative skills

Job Duties

  • Participates in creating a multi-faceted activity calendar appropriate for all care levels
  • Assists the Activities Director in leading activities and encouraging resident participation
  • Helps provide community engagement opportunities for residents
  • Performs designated administrative tasks such as maintaining activity sign-up sheets and ordering supplies
  • Supports residents who lead activities to promote pride and leadership
  • Transports residents to functions using company vehicles if applicable
