Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • One to two years of related experience in coordinating, planning, and executing group activities and events
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to proficiently operate standard office equipment
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  • Compliance with company’s motor vehicle policy standards
  • Ability to drive company provided or personal vehicle for outings
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, iPad, and tablet usage

Job Duties

  • Develop and implement activities, recreation, socialization, fitness, and adult-learning programs for senior residents
  • Develop a monthly calendar providing social and recreational activities daily including weekends
  • Utilize community passenger vehicle to transport residents to and from appointments, events, and activities
  • Drive the community passenger vehicle when no designated driver is available
  • Lead decoration and celebration of major holidays and special occasions
  • Ensure inclusivity of different religious holiday celebrations for residents
  • Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and vendors
