Job Duties
- Strategically plan, coordinate, oversee, and manage a diverse array of events, including children's and adult activities, both free and paid, as well as movie nights
- contribute to the creation of a comprehensive activities calendar for the resort
- take charge of activities setup and cleanup
- establish and maintain a robust tracking system to monitor attendance, vendor engagement, revenue, and expenses for each activity
- assist in ensuring the timely payment of invoices while meticulously documenting all financial transactions
- actively participate in training team members and volunteers within the Activity department
- support the development of an events calendar for the upcoming season, adhering to budgetary constraints
- prepare and distribute newsletters to residents and guests of the resort
- collaborate in the planning and execution of fundraising activities to strengthen departmental support
- effectively manage and update inventories of activity supplies
- ensure the proper maintenance of equipment and supplies
- fulfill any additional responsibilities as assigned
