Job Requirements

  • minimum high school education or equivalent
  • passion for helping seniors live fulfilling lives
  • flexibility to work 8-12 hours weekly
  • ability to assist in organizing and facilitating activities
  • strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • reliable and able to work independently
  • previous activities or recreation experience is a plus

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous experience in activities coordination or event planning preferred
  • minimum 1-year experience in activities or recreation services preferred
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to engage positively with seniors
  • good organizational skills

Job Duties

  • assist in planning and organizing activities for residents
  • facilitate social, recreational, and enrichment programs
  • support residents' physical, emotional, and cognitive well-being
  • help maintain activity supplies and equipment
  • engage with residents to encourage participation
  • document activities and resident feedback
  • collaborate with staff to enhance life enrichment programs
