Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED
  • one or more years' experience in planning, coordinating, or leading activities and events preferred
  • ability to read, write and understand English
  • willingness to participate in theater, art, music, fitness, education, event planning and recreation activities
  • ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, crouch, bend, stoop, reach, grasp, push, pull and work continuously without sitting for extended periods
  • ability to lift or carry up to 20 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • willingness to engage with diverse senior residents through varied enrichment programs
  • strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanor

Job Duties

  • assist in planning and coordinating resident activities
  • support execution of the FACETS program encompassing socialization, health, wellness, lifelong learning, legacy, and spirituality
  • engage residents with a variety of enrichment experiences including art, music, fitness, education, and recreation
  • model The Sterling Touch friendly and professional manner in all interactions
  • collaborate with the Director of FACETS to ensure program quality and resident satisfaction
  • participate physically in activities requiring standing, walking, and lifting up to 20 pounds
