Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum one year experience in senior activities or recreation services preferred
  • ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
  • excellent communication and organizational skills
  • physical ability to assist with activity set-up and participation
  • passion for serving seniors
  • willingness to comply with all company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in activities coordination or event planning preferred
  • minimum one year experience in recreation services or related field preferred
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to engage and motivate seniors
  • creative mindset for developing activities
  • knowledge of senior health and wellness principles

Job Duties

  • plan and organize recreational activities for senior residents
  • facilitate social and wellness events to promote engagement
  • assist in coordinating community outings and special celebrations
  • support residents in participating safely in activities
  • develop creative activity schedules tailored to resident interests
  • maintain records of events and resident participation
  • collaborate with other staff to enhance resident life quality
