Job Requirements
- Experience coordinating group activities or event planning
- Past roles involving facilitation of group participation
- Prior experience multitasking in service or caregiving roles
- Experience working with seniors or vulnerable populations
- Volunteer or work experience organizing social activities
- Familiarity with senior population and aging effects
- Background in assisted living, therapeutic recreation, or customer service roles
Job Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Minimum one year experience in customer service, event planning, or leading groups
- Current negative TB test
- Ability to pass criminal record and background check
- Valid driver’s license with a qualifying driver abstract
- Good time management skills
- Ability to work independently with little oversight
- Willingness to learn about healthcare and assisted living environments
Job Duties
- Implement engaging social programs for senior residents
- Lead small and large group activities and events
- Collaborate with Life Enhancement Coordinator to develop resident programs
- Facilitate creative arts, music, wellness, and spiritual activities
- Encourage socialization and continuous learning among residents
- Adapt activities to suit varying cognitive and physical abilities
- Utilize communication skills to promote participation and engage families via social media
