Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in senior care or activities programming preferred
- ability to communicate effectively with residents and staff
- valid driver’s license to transport residents using company vehicles
- ability to perform designated administrative tasks
- adherence to company policies and core values
- physical ability to assist residents during activities
Job Qualifications
- experience in assisting with activity planning and implementation
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to encourage and motivate residents
- knowledge of HIPAA and resident rights policies
- familiarity with community engagement practices
- ability to lead group activities and programs
- basic administrative skills
Job Duties
- ensures the CAPLICO core values and code of conduct are adhered to at all times
- ensures compliance with resident rights and HIPAA policies at all times
- participates in the creation, planning and implementation of activities to meet the interests of all residents
- contributes to the creation of the daily/monthly activities calendar
- continually promotes and encourages resident participation in activities and events
- leads activities and conducts programs in a timely manner
- helps to provide opportunities for residents to engage in various community projects in the surrounding community
