Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in senior activities or caregiving preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively and lead groups
  • Must adhere to confidentiality and HIPAA standards
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Ability to perform administrative duties
  • Ability to motivate and engage elderly residents

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working with elderly or in a senior living environment preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to lead group activities and encourage participation
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and resident rights
  • Ability to drive company vehicles
  • Basic administrative skills
  • Ability to promote resident leadership and individual participation

Job Duties

  • Ensures the CAPLICO Core Values and Code of Conduct are adhered to at all times
  • Ensures compliance with Resident Rights and HIPAA policies at all times
  • Participates in the creation, planning and implementation of activities to meet the interests of all residents
  • Contributes to the creation of the daily/monthly activities calendar
  • Continually promotes and encourages resident participation in activities and events
  • Leads activities and conducts programs in a timely manner
  • Helps to provide opportunities for residents to engage in various community projects
  • Assists with designated administrative tasks such as posting daily calendars, maintaining and updating resident sign-up sheets, ordering supplies
  • Supports and encourages residents who lead various activities to promote a sense of pride
  • Transports residents to various functions using company vehicles
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Executive Director
