Job Requirements
- Minimum one year of experience in activities or recreation services preferred
- Ability to work Sunday through Thursday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to communicate effectively with seniors and team members
- Basic computer skills for record keeping
- Flexibility to work in assisted living and memory care settings
- Commitment to enhancing the lives of senior residents
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in activity coordination or recreation services preferred
- Passion for working with seniors
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to organize and lead group activities
- Understanding of senior living and memory care environments preferred
- Certification in life enrichment or activity planning is a plus
Job Duties
- Organize and facilitate engaging activities for senior residents
- Collaborate with residents to tailor programs to their interests and needs
- Assist in planning special events and community outings
- Monitor resident participation and adjust activities accordingly
- Maintain records of activities and resident involvement
- Support staff in creating a safe and inclusive environment
- Promote social interaction and mental stimulation among residents
