Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in activity coordination or volunteer management preferred
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, and staff
  • strong organizational and time management skills
  • ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • willingness to comply with health and safety pre-employment screenings

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in activity coordination or volunteer management preferred
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to motivate and engage diverse groups of seniors
  • strong organizational and time management abilities
  • proficiency with basic computer applications
  • CPR and first aid certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Develop and lead a resident-centered activity and volunteer program
  • organize engaging events and social activities tailored to senior residents
  • coordinate volunteer recruitment, training, and scheduling
  • collaborate with families and staff to assess resident needs and preferences
  • monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and make adjustments as necessary
  • foster a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere that encourages resident participation
  • maintain accurate records and reports related to activities and volunteer involvement
