Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a long-term care setting preferred
- Proficient computer skills
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
- Pass pre-employment physical examination
- Pass criminal history background check
- Fully vaccinated for Covid-19 or provide exemption
Job Qualifications

- Prior experience as an activity aide in a long-term care facility preferred
- Computer knowledge
- Ability to push, pull, move, and/or lift at least twenty-five pounds
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and criminal background check
- Compliance with CMS and IDPH Covid-19 vaccine guidelines
Job Duties
- Prepare and lead engaging activities for residents
- Assist in planning life enrichment events to promote cognitive stimulation
- Provide companionship and support to residents during activities
- Monitor resident participation and respond to individual needs
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to coordinate activities with rehabilitation goals
- Maintain activity supplies and prepare materials as needed
- Document resident progress and activity participation
