Job Duties
- Greet customers in a courteous and professional manner, using their names when possible
- check in with management on any catering needs
- prep all items needed following production guidelines and standardized recipes outlined by chef or manager
- prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items
- safely use all food utensils including knives
- record food temperatures at notated times in station book
- maintain daily upkeep and cleanliness of station clean as you go
- arrive on-time in full, clean uniform
- change gloves and wash hands in accordance with local health department
- operate equipment such as ovens, broilers, steamers, slicers, stove top, mixers, etc
- arrange, garnish, and portion food following established guidelines
- perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
