Job Requirements

  • knowledge of accounts payable processes and basic accounting principles
  • proficiency in microsoft office and accounting software
  • strong written and verbal communication skills
  • previous experience in an administrative accounting or clerical role preferred
  • strong attention to detail organization and time management skills
  • ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • knowledge of accounts payable processes and basic accounting principles
  • proficient in computerized programs such as spreadsheets accounting software and microsoft office word excel outlook etc.
  • strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and external partners
  • previous experience in an administrative accounting or clerical role is preferred but not required
  • strong attention to detail organization and time management skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Manage front desk operations greeting visitors and directing them appropriately
  • answer and route phone calls professionally providing information and assistance as needed
  • support the accounting department with accounts payable functions
  • charge expenses to accounts and cost codes by analyzing invoice expense reports and recording entries
  • verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions
  • handle payments in an organized and timely manner
  • order and maintain office supplies ensuring the workplace remains organized and efficient
  • handle customer inquiries with professionalism and courtesy ensuring a positive experience
  • maintain confidentiality and protect the company's financial and personal information
