Job Requirements
- College degree preferred
- two years related experience in bookkeeping
- hospitality experience preferred
- excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language

Job Duties
- Maintain professional demeanor at all times
- establish and maintain good communication and teamwork with colleagues and other departments
- manage hotel payroll functions, processes and procedures
- process payroll edits, review for accuracy and export to accounting software
- verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures
- prepare batches of invoices for accounting system entry
- enter invoices for payment timely and ensure correct month expense accounting
- prepare and distribute vendor checks
- record ACH and wire payments
- maintain and analyze general ledger including journal entries and accruals
- organize workspace and vendor files
- maintain AP filing for research ease
- perform cash handling and reconcile front desk cash drops
- follow up on billing and credit collection documentation
- assist with reimbursable invoicing
- set up new accounts per credit policy
- process month-end and year-end AP and AR closing
- provide month-end accounting support
- prepare yearly 1099 forms
- participate in managing PO system and policies
- address accounting issues from guests
- maintain hotel safety awareness
- participate in departmental and administrative meetings as requested
- adhere to all operational standards, policies and procedures
- comply with safety and emergency procedures including OSHA requirements
