Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum three years of relevant accounting experience
- Previous supervisory experience desirable
- Strong initiative and financial knowledge
- Ethical conduct
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to work indoors in a controlled environment
- Physical ability to operate office equipment and coordinate with resort departments
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or related field preferred
- Minimum three years of accounting and financial analysis experience, preferably in hotel finance
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Broad financial knowledge with strong management and leadership skills
- High ethical standards
- Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Job Duties
- Review and validate employee gratuity distributions according to hotel procedures
- Consolidate departmental reports and transmit to Payroll bi-weekly
- Ensure timely deposit of local and state taxes and file related reports
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations with proper documentation
- Complete daily revenue and labor reports accurately
- Review revenue adjustments, paid vouchers, and complimentary guest checks for authorization
- Approve petty cash purchases with proper coding and documentation
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports compliant with accounting principles
