Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent
- Five or more years of accounting leadership in a hotel setting
- Knowledge of computer-based accounting management systems
- Strong management and leadership abilities
- Excellent organizational skills
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to monitor and enforce internal controls
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent experience
- Five or more years of accounting leadership in a hotel setting
- Knowledge of computer-based front and back of house accounting management systems
- Effective management, leadership, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Job Duties
- Provide direction and leadership to all accounting and finance functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, audit, cash management, and payroll
- Prepare and analyze financial reports
- Partner with general managers and department heads to prepare budgets and maintain budget goals and objectives
- Monitor and enforce internal controls, cash counts, and inventories
- Maintain lease and other legal agreements
- Post accounts payable invoices
- Manage cash and check deposits
- Roll over daily operational reports
- Review and dispute chargebacks
- Reconcile balance sheets
