Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent
  • Five or more years of accounting leadership in a hotel setting
  • Knowledge of computer-based accounting management systems
  • Strong management and leadership abilities
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to monitor and enforce internal controls

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent experience
  • Five or more years of accounting leadership in a hotel setting
  • Knowledge of computer-based front and back of house accounting management systems
  • Effective management, leadership, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Provide direction and leadership to all accounting and finance functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, audit, cash management, and payroll
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports
  • Partner with general managers and department heads to prepare budgets and maintain budget goals and objectives
  • Monitor and enforce internal controls, cash counts, and inventories
  • Maintain lease and other legal agreements
  • Post accounts payable invoices
  • Manage cash and check deposits
  • Roll over daily operational reports
  • Review and dispute chargebacks
  • Reconcile balance sheets
