Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3-5 years of relevant industry experience
  • Current valid driver’s license
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Knowledge of international logistics and customs processes
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Must maintain confidentiality and demonstrate honesty
  • Ability to handle sensitive company information
  • Positive attitude and strong organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • CES or CCS preferred
  • LCB helpful
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • College degree helpful
  • 3-5 years industry experience required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interpret financial reports, industry journals and legal documents
  • Ability to present information effectively to various stakeholders
  • Knowledge of international logistics and customs process
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and ten-key skills
  • Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as percentages, ratios and proportions
  • Must have a current valid driver’s license
  • Must be self-motivated, able to maintain confidentiality, honest, friendly, punctual, organized, positive attitude and able to work unsupervised
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects
  • Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate critical thinking and make key decisions on behalf of customers throughout shipment lifecycle
  • Monitor loading, departure, transit, arrival, and final delivery of shipments for any issues
  • Serve as direct point of contact with assigned customers to ensure prompt and accurate service
  • Prepare and execute documents for U.S. Customs and other government agencies
  • Quote rates by partnering with internal quote department and determine best routing and carrier options
  • Ensure billing is accurate and timely
  • Maintain and help create company policies related to credit, pricing, account management, and service deliveries
  • Act as power of attorney to sign official documents for the company
  • Maintain and organize all records for client’s transactional events
  • Stay informed on legal requirements to maintain compliance with import/export regulations
  • Prepare letters of credit
  • Make visits to customer locations with General Manager or Sales Executive
  • Receive guidance for overall objectives and work independently within company policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned
