Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, supply chain, or related field preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in account management, operations, or client services preferably in airline catering, hospitality, or food service industries
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple client accounts
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications
- Ability to work onsite at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport
- Understanding of budgeting and cost control processes
- Familiarity with food safety standards such as FDA and HACCP
- Leadership experience in staffing and team development
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, supply chain, or related field preferred
- 3+ years of experience in account management, operations, or client services preferably in airline catering, hospitality, or food service industries
- Proven track record of managing client accounts and delivering high-quality service
- Experience with budgeting, cost control, and process improvement initiatives
- Demonstrable record of understanding and meeting customer expectations
- Proven understanding of drivers of product and labor cost variances
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications
Job Duties
- Develop and maintain an excellent relationship with assigned account(s) and act as liaison between Customer Service Center/kitchen facility, airline, and Key Account Manager
- Ensure accurate billing, provisioning, and inventory management aligned with customer standards
- Oversee daily par levels, equipment inventory, and on-time flight departures
- Monitor and ensure compliance with customer specifications, equipment, policies, and procedures including FDA and HACCP standards
- Maintain customer specifications and monitor changes
- Coordinate and participate in all Customer Service Center evaluations by the customer and distribute feedback to department Managers ensuring timely response
- Monitor and ensure kitchen facility compliance with airline safety expectations
- Develop, document and maintain flight attendant comment and delay database
- Support Executive chef in menu presentations as needed
- Participate in special customer projects
- Ensure area of responsibility is organized, staffed, and directed properly
- Guide, motivate, and develop subordinate employees within Human Resources policy
- Participate in coaching the expanded Global Performance System (GPS) process and other career development activities
- Make company values and management principles live in the department
- Plan, implement and control cost budget in area of responsibility and initiate corrective actions if needed
- Participate and support company sponsored initiatives such as Global Quality Standard (GQS), HACCP, Lean Manufacturing, and Employee Safety
