Job Qualifications

  • bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 1-2 years healthcare specific outside sales experience preferred
  • 1-2 years outside sales experience or considerable transferrable experience
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • effective technical selling skills
  • good presentation skills
  • detail oriented
  • excellent organizational and management skills
  • ability to establish and expand relationships with diverse referral sources
  • comfortable making cold calls
  • ability to create territory sales plans
  • ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • achieve and exceed territory admission goals
  • meet short- and long-term target account goals
  • develop relationships with key facility accounts and service these accounts in a legal and compliant manner
  • make sufficient number of sales calls to meet with 8-10 decision makers per day
  • demonstrate technical selling skills and product knowledge
  • partner with clinical team to ensure highest level of service and support
  • educate referral sources on company services
  • assist with development and implementation of quarterly strategic business plans
  • prioritize accounts according to market sales plan
  • develop networking relationships in the community
  • maintain a professional attitude and work well with others
  • identify and resolve referral source concerns
  • respond to customer complaints in a timely manner
  • gather materials to facilitate patient admission
  • document sales calls daily in CRM
  • maintain up-to-date record of referral sources in CRM
  • maintain accurate expense reports and weekly territory reports
  • attend weekly sales meetings
  • complete assignments as assigned by supervisor
