Job Requirements
- Experience developing technical proposals for corporate meetings, trade shows, or hospitality events
- Proven track record in closing sales
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to understand and interpret technical AV requirements
- Organized and confident in client interactions
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- Capability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
- Willingness to work in office, warehouse, and event venue environments
Job Qualifications
- 3+ years experience developing technical proposals for corporate meetings, trade shows, hospitality, event management, or related industries
- Demonstrated success in sales performance
- Proven record of closing sales in events or AV industries
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to interpret technical requirements for live events
- Organized and proactive in client-facing environments
Job Duties
- Respond to inquiries and qualify event needs
- Assess budgets and recommend AV solutions
- Build and present formal proposals to clients
- Negotiate pricing and secure signed contracts
- Visit venues and survey sites for logistics and equipment alignment
- Collaborate with show services, warehouse, logistics, and labor teams
- Review equipment before shipment and authorize show packages
- Prepare final billing and confirm client satisfaction
- Renew relationships and prospect new business
- Perform additional tasks to support business needs
