Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing for extended periods
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must abide by MHA’s culture code and standards of conduct
  • Willingness to participate in gatherings involving prayer, worship, and Bible-centered teachings

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in housekeeping or custodial work preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning methods and safety practices
  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to organizational policies
  • Respect for the organization’s mission and culture code

Job Duties

  • Clean and arrange guest rooms and cabins to MHA’s standards for guest arrival
  • Clean and maintain common areas of the lodging buildings
  • Perform laundry duties as necessary
  • Stock and maintain housekeeping supply rooms and closets
  • Ensure a high level of customer service is performed at all times
  • Be courteous and helpful when interacting with our guests
  • Assist guests with requests and questions as necessary
  • Report any damages or repairs needed to management
  • Label all lost and found items and bring them to the Lost and Found desk in the housekeeping office
  • Perform other duties as assigned
