Job Requirements

  • Possess a valid state issued driver’s license
  • Pass pre-placement background check and drug screen
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Mechanical experience and/or aptitude
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs from floor to chest height with or without accommodation
  • Reliable and punctual attendance
  • Willing to work four 10 hour shifts with flexible days
  • Available to work weekend shifts when needed
  • Read, write and understand English

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Mechanical experience or aptitude
  • Ability to read, write and understand English
  • Familiarity with SkyWest General Maintenance Manual (GMM)
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Willingness to wear required safety equipment
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including night and weekend shifts
  • Commitment to safety and operational procedures

Job Duties

  • Audit and maintain aircraft cabin interior appearance
  • Perform component replacement and maintenance on appearance items according to manufacturer manuals and SkyWest GMM
  • Ensure assigned work area is clean and free of hazards
  • Maintain tools and support equipment in a clean, safe and operational condition
  • Wear eye and ear protection as necessary while using tools or machinery
  • Work any assigned shift including night shifts and overtime
  • Collaborate with maintenance department to uphold flight safety standards
