Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in appointment scheduling, customer service, or related field
  • Proficiency in computer skills including data entry and information retrieval
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments
  • Good time management skills
  • Ability to handle difficult or escalated situations with sound judgment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferably a bachelor’s degree
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency with Windows applications and specialized software
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Good time management abilities
  • Experience in appointment scheduling or customer service
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various departments
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment in escalated situations

Job Duties

  • Performs direct outreach to targeted patients and schedules appointments as requested, while partnering with internal departments and leaders to manage access
  • Manages and coordinates referrals via online work queues
  • Provides excellent customer service and access navigation support to both patients and providers via web tools
  • Develops and maintains organized record keeping systems as needed to facilitate the flow and retrieval of information
  • Works collaboratively with clinical departments to meet the needs of patients
  • Other related duties as required
  • Exercises sound judgment in handling difficult or escalated situations
