Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior delivery experience
- Prior DME delivery experience preferred
- 1-2 years construction or assembly experience with electrical equipment
- 1-2 years low voltage electrical experience
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
- This position requires travel to patient homes and meeting locations
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record

- Prior delivery experience
- Prior DME delivery experience preferred
- 1-2 years construction or assembly experience with electrical equipment
- 1-2 years low voltage electrical experience
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record
Job Duties
- Review work orders and document delivery route
- Conduct phone calls to schedule delivery and pick-up of durable medical equipment and supplies
- Locate products within warehouse and load vehicles with durable medical equipment
- Ensure that equipment is properly secured within vehicle
- Transport durable medical equipment and supplies using delivery van or truck to locations indicated on delivery schedule
- Assemble and install Durable Medical Equipment at Veteran homes
- Provide patient orientation and instruction on proper use of equipment
- Respond to patient inquiries on equipment set-up and usage
- Perform follow-up servicing of equipment in the field as necessary
- Perform minor repair of equipment
- Pick up, unload, and disassemble returned equipment at warehouse
- Perform documentation tasks including obtaining signatures from Veterans upon delivery
- Complete driver log and vehicle pre-trip and post-trip checklists
- Assist in cleaning and disinfecting used equipment
- Perform daily vehicle maintenance and safety checks
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance at work
