Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior cooking or kitchen experience preferred
- understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- attention to detail
- good communication skills

- ability to follow directions closely
- physical stamina to stand for long periods
Job Qualifications
- understand all portion control charts including full and add portions
- make all specialty pizzas correctly
- use scales for all portioning
- know all product abbreviations and read guest checks or POS monitors
- follow buffet rotation chart
- follow correct baking procedures
- produce consistent products
- know and prepare all specialty items
- know shelf life of products or where to locate
- understand FIFO, flip and fill, and restocking products
- prep and label items correctly
- explain importance of minimizing waste and food cost
Job Duties
- Have a neat, clean appearance
- follow directions and Pizza Inn Portion Control Chart
- follow all safety and sanitation procedures
- demonstrate guest-oriented focus
- demonstrate teamwork
- communicate to the various departments
- manage equipment effectively
- follow clean as you go policy
- keep work area organized and follow 7 steps of phone pro
- demonstrate a sense of urgency
- adhere to food quality standards including freshness, temperature, taste, appearance
- understand FIFO rotation
- complete side work duties
- open and close station correctly
