Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of expertise and education
- Minimum 2-4 years relevant experience
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Initiative and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills
- Flexible and adaptable nature
- Compassionate and empathetic mindset
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
- Experience with calendar management
- Experience in project and event coordination
- Knowledge of expense reimbursement
- Preferably experience with Asana and Workday
- Skills in website and social media management
- Experience with admissions application management
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience preferably in an academic setting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
- Experience with project and event coordination
- Familiarity with expense reimbursement processes
- Knowledge of Asana and Workday is desirable
- Experience in website and social media management is desirable
- Admissions application management experience is desirable
Job Duties
- Provide high-level administrative support to faculty including managing appointments, promotions, travel logistics, and visa applications
- Guide students through academic program requirements and course options, support curriculum and admissions processes, and coordinate committee meetings with detailed minutes
- Coordinate departmental events including the weekly HSR Seminar Series and other activities by managing speakers, venues, catering, invitations, announcements, surveys, and post-event tasks
- Oversee departmental communications by managing website content, social media, creating features, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure accurate and engaging content
- Handle purchasing, reimbursements, and adherence to university policies
- Maintain filing systems and correspondence management
- Assist with orientation coordination and progress tracking
