Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous cooking experience in a related field preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
  • Team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills
  • Experience preparing small plates, tapas-style dishes, or bar menu items preferred
  • Experience in hotel or restaurant kitchen environments preferred
  • Food safety certification or willingness to obtain

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to AC Lounge standards and recipes, ensuring consistency and quality
  • Maintain proper food preparation, presentation, and portion control
  • Ensure all food is prepared in a timely and efficient manner to support lounge service
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized kitchen environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
  • Monitor food inventory and assist with ordering and stocking supplies
  • Follow proper food handling, storage, and temperature control procedures
  • Assist with preparation and setup for lounge service, including prep work
  • Work collaboratively with the bartenders, servers, and management team to ensure a smooth guest experience
  • Properly store and label food items while minimizing waste
  • Assist with kitchen closing procedures and cleaning duties
