Job Requirements
- Be able to lift 75lbs on occasion and 20-30lbs regularly throughout the shift
- push and pull linen carts that weigh up to 400lbs
- effective listening skills
- able to stand stationary, bend, stoop, reach, and endure repetitive motion for the duration of the shift
- keen eye for detail
- organizational skills
- able to work and adapt to a fast paced environment
- must be reliable
- willing to work weekends and holidays
- ability to communicate in English both verbally and written
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in laundry or housekeeping preferred
- ability to communicate effectively in English verbally and in writing

Job Duties
- Stock assigned landings with linens, terry, supplies, and robes
- deliver requested items in a timely manner to room attendants
- strip rooms per shift as assigned
- complete all cleanliness projects on landings and guest floors as assigned by supervisors
- communicate effectively with room attendants in their section to ensure all needs are accomplished
- communicate effectively with the laundry department on required linen needs
- perform linen inventory on a quarterly basis
- fold sheets, table linen, napkins, terry and pillowcases to standard
- sort, load, unload, and run the washers
- sort, load, unload, and run the dryers
- follow AHC handbook policies and standard operating procedures
- actively work, always looking for ways to assist guests and go above and beyond to provide guest service
- read and understand all memos that pertain to the laundry department
- use other AHC hotels and staff as resources
- complete all daily responsibilities and cleaning task list
- follow hotel green policies
- ensure trash and recyclables are taken out
- facilitate closing duties for laundry operations
- any other additional responsibilities that may be assigned by General Manager, Operations Manager, or Supervisor
