Job Requirements

  • a two-year college degree with at least three years of related experience or a four-year college degree with a minimum of one year of related experience
  • five years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field including required supervisory experience
  • ability to handle stressful high-pressure situations while maintaining composure and objectivity
  • must meet certification requirements which may include food handlers alcohol awareness cpr and first aid

Job Duties

  • supervise and assist in food preparation ensuring high standards of quality taste and presentation across all outlets while maintaining safety expectations
  • lead motivate coach and discipline kitchen personnel to ensure efficient and high-quality food preparation and service
  • manage food costs budgets and maximize cost production ratios to optimize financial performance
  • maintain cleanliness sanitation and safety in the kitchen work and storage areas adhering to all health and safety regulations
  • anticipate and address issues proactively to ensure smooth kitchen operations
  • clearly convey information and resolve concerns from co-workers and guests effectively
