Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of three years of restaurant management experience
  • Experience running shifts without supervision
  • Preferably multi-unit supervision experience
  • Willingness to work minimum 5 days a week including irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays
  • Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing and selection practices
  • Knowledge of federal and state labor laws and local health and sanitation laws
  • Leadership and supervisory skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic accounting and computer skills
  • Ability to follow directions and work independently
  • Ability to multi-task and solve problems
  • Problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Abide by company's appearance, uniform and hygiene standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Advanced studies in business, restaurant management or related fields preferred
  • Minimum three years of restaurant management experience
  • Multi-unit supervision experience preferred
  • Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing and selection practices
  • Knowledge of federal and state labor laws and local health and sanitation regulations
  • Leadership and supervisory skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic accounting and computer skills
  • Problem solving, decision-making and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to follow directions and work autonomously
  • Ability to multi-task

Job Duties

  • Manages, trains, and coaches General Managers
  • Directs and assists with assigning employees to ensure all aspects of service meet operational standards
  • Adheres to and monitors management compliance with employee handbook, policies, and practices
  • Takes appropriate action to address employee issues and policy violations promptly
  • Reviews employee and management work schedules to ensure continuous service
  • Monitors cost control procedures for food, labor, paper, and inventory and takes corrective action
  • Monitors performance of vendors and takes corrective action when necessary
  • Audits employment-related records and payroll records
  • Reinforces importance of placing guest needs first to management
  • Responds to escalated guest requests and complaints respectfully
  • Recruits, interviews, and hires management team members
  • Approves compensation levels within company guidelines
  • Prepares operational reports for multiple units and develops action plans to resolve financial or sales trends
  • Develops and implements marketing plans for the region
