Job Requirements
- Bend and/or kneel up to 10 percent of the time
- lift, reach, carry, push, pull up to 50 pounds and up to 50 percent of the time
- stand and walk up to 90 percent of the time
- ability to work outdoors during all seasons
- must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
Job Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques
- proficiency using hand tools, blowers, rakes, and brooms
- ability to drive a cart safely and efficiently
- teamwork and interpersonal flexibility
- willingness and ability to receive and act on instruction from supervisors
- customer service approach
- regular and reliable attendance
Job Duties
- Pick up and dispose of trash, litter and debris
- replace liners as needed and clean containers
- blow and/or sweep entrances, sidewalks and ramps
- remove spills and stains from entrances and sidewalks
- remove cigarette butts and clean ash trays as needed
- help clean and prepare vehicles for next service day
- inspect equipment before use to ensure proper and safe operation
- report problems to the Crew Leader or Supervisor
- identify and report unsafe work conditions or practices to the Crew Leader or Supervisor
